The architect
Aaron Daniels
His first films were sports highlights. In 2008, a camcorder highlight tape he cut himself earned him a football scholarship. Then came a finance degree, a career working in investments, and a studio he built in his basement in St. Louis. Arizona, after 2020, turned a camera into a company.
He built a video department from nothing inside Arizona's top hospitality agency, directed a Billboard-charting music video featuring Grammy winner Mark Kibble of Take 6 on his own time, and then said yes when a medical aesthetics practice asked if he could make a television show. Ten episodes, a crew eager to learn, a year of production and post — and somewhere in the middle, the company got its name.
Today he directs every APEX production and heads post-production. The system that carries one shoot into content for every platform was researched inside that agency, re-coined as APEX, ANCHOR and AUTHORITY, and has run on every account since.
“He calls himself the architect, and that is exactly what he is.”— Merrill, Rouge & Wright
